Alethic is a new SaaS venture from Magnitude QS, a Chartered Quantity Surveying and Construction Consultancy, who provide management and professional advice to clients and contractors. Their team — working nationally with over 75 years of combined experience — are committed to providing their clients with elite advice from concept to completion, creating value at every stage and enabling informed decisions to be made and in turn maximising commercial and project success.

Magnitude initially engaged with me at Yozu in January 2023 as they had seen a gap in the market that a technology product could potentially fill — they had even gone as far as to develop a low-code solution for internal use as a proof of concept.

Quantity Surveying generates a huge amount of data as part of any given project and this data can be used for an array of purposes such as:

  • Benchmarking
  • Improving Estimation
  • Reporting

In general, this data is not easily accessed — especially by the general public or smaller contractors — which is the gap that Magnitude spotted. They felt there was an opportunity to create a technology product to harness, analyse, and put that data to use for a number of prospective audiences.

Following on from our initial conversations, Magnitude made the decision to move forward with developing a design prototype, branding, and associated marketing materials in order to help them in understanding market appetite for a potential product — this product (and associated business) is Alethic.

Our Approach

Creating successful products involves a multifaceted approach that encompasses branding, product design, and marketing strategies. Our process began with a deep dive into understanding the core values and objectives of the software concept, as well as the needs and preferences of the target audience.

Through interactive exercises and brainstorming sessions, we explored different concepts, ensuring that our solution aligned seamlessly with their vision and objectives. By fostering open communication and collaboration, we delivered results that exceeded expectations and gave them a desirable proof of concept.

During our brand workshops, we collaborated closely with the client to define their unique values, which served as the foundation for creating a captivating brand that authentically communicates the business idea and resonates with their target audience.

We designed and built a complete brand concept and a dynamic marketing website to showcase their innovative software solution and captivate potential users.

Overall, our work included a comprehensive brand strategy, including logo design and brand identity development. Our UX/UI product design process resulted in intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user experience. Additionally, we crafted a sleek marketing website that effectively communicates their brand message and showcases their product and its USPs. Finally, we created compelling promotional assets such as graphics and videos to engage their audience across various platforms.
